Hi I am Lauron, co owner of Elwood’s salons with my Mum Emma. I have been hairdressing since 2002. I feel so lucky to have a career that I absolutely love and the best team of people to work with.

I work between the two salons which gives the week a nice mix. I enjoy most aspects of hairdressing, especially balayage, highlights, cutting, barbering & special occasion hair. I love making my clients look and feel good about themselves and spreading my positivity! In my own time I enjoy being a mum, spending time with family & friends, holidays, walking, festivals & afternoon tea.

Lou is a fun loving member of the Elwoods team at our Loudwater branch and has been hairdressing for 20 plus years. Her favourite aspects of hairdressing are Tinting and perming.

Lou enjoys meeting new people but also builds meaningful relationships with her existing clients putting them at ease and listening carefully to their wants and needs. In her own time Lou enjoys live music & dancing.

Karen has known she wanted to be a hairdresser since the age of 4. Karen loves making people look their very best, and to see their happiness makes her happy.

She has been part of Elwoods since the very beginning, and blessed to work with this lovely team for many years before when it was the previous salon. We are all great friends and family, and love what we do. Karen started her journey in 1990 and wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

Danielle has been at Elwood’s Town centre since 2018 and started hairdressing in 2013.She is attentive with all her clients and takes pride in making them feel & look good.

Danielle enjoys all aspects of hairdressing colouring, cutting and keeping busy but she especially loves doing balayages & barbering. Danielle enjoys getting stuck into a podcast while off out for a walking when she’s not at the salon. Danielle enjoys festivals and living life to the full.

Kirsty is a enthusiastic all round hairdresser who has been with Elwoods right from the start. She began her hairdressing career at the town centre salon in 2005. Kirsty has a passion for all aspects of hairdressing and loves being creative with colour weather thats blondes, brunettes, balayages, bold vivid colours or just simply blending away those “pesky natural highlights” and that shines through with the quality of her work.

She especially likes to encourage her fellow curly haired clients to embrace their natural curls by sharing her own curly hair routine, tips & tricks.

Leah joined the Elwoods Team as our apprentice in 2019. She has just finished her training and has qualified as our new stylst. Leah has started taking on her own clients as well as assisting other stylists to gain further experience.

She’s excited to continue to build her her clientele and creating her own amazing transformations. One of Leahs’ hobbies is going roller skating and is a regular at the roller disco. She has recently passed her driving test loves having the freedom to go on road trips.

Alex is a senior stylist at our Loudwater branch. He has been with Elwoods since they opened their second salon in 2017. Alex started his hairdressing career in 2005. He is also qualified in all massage and facial treatments that we offer. He enjoys all aspects of my job, but specifically all areas of cutting and colouring... for ladies and gents alike.

He enjoys being creative and building a long, lasting bond with his clients. Alex has a wicked sense of humour and enjoys keeping the team and clients entertained! He prides himself on his patience and ability to cut the hair of even the most challenging of children. Outside of work Alex enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two amazing boys, Charlie and Myles.
